This article highlights the changes in hematological parameters of blood in rabbits affected by psoroptic mange (a parasitic disease caused by Psoroptes cuniculi). According to the research results, a decrease in erythrocyte count, hemoglobin concentration, and hematocrit levels was observed in diseased rabbits. Leukocytosis was detected in the leukocytic profile, characterized by an increase in eosinophils and neutrophils and a decrease in lymphocytes. These alterations are closely associated with parasitic invasion, inflammatory processes, and intoxication in the rabbit’s body. Thus, it is substantiated that in the diagnosis of psoroptic mange, hematological examinations are of great importance alongside clinical signs.
