This article examines the occupational characteristics of TN, focusing on how specific types of work, work-related stressors, and repetitive facial movements may influence the onset and exacerbation of TN symptoms. By reviewing the available literature and empirical studies, the article examines the prevalence of TN in various occupations, including those involving high physical and mental demands. It also discusses preventive measures and workplace adaptations, such as ergonomic interventions and stress management techniques, to improve employee well-being and productivity for those affected by TN.
