The Impact of Pesticides on the Environment and Animal Organisms
Downloads
The article analyzes the comprehensive impact of pesticides on animal and human organisms as well as on the natural environment, based on modern scientific data. The main routes of entry of toxicants into the organism, their mechanisms of action, and the long-term consequences of chronic exposure are examined. Particular attention is paid to the degradation of aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems, as well as to the reduction of biodiversity. The author substantiates the need for a transition to balanced pesticide management strategies, including strengthening regulatory control and developing alternative methods of plant protection. In addition, the toxic effects of herbicides (among pesticides) on animals, humans, and edible plants were studied using modern diagnostic methods to assess toxicity levels.
