Diabetic neuropathy is one of the most common and disabling complications of diabetes mellitus, significantly reducing the quality of life for patients. Early detection of changes in pain and temperature sensitivity can aid in the timely diagnosis of neuropathy and prevent its progression. Therefore, the development of accessible and effective methods for assessing sensitivity is an important task for improving diagnosis and monitoring the condition of patients with diabetes mellitus. Given the growing prevalence of diabetes worldwide, timely intervention in the management of complications like neuropathy is of increasing significance in clinical practice.
